Job Title:  Studio Manager
Location: Ocala, Florida
Job Type: Extensive Part-Time to Full-Time (30+ Hours per Week)

Club Pilates Overview:
Club Pilates is a leading boutique fitness studio offering group reformer Pilates classes for all ages and fitness levels. We are passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals through our fun, supportive, and engaging community.

Position Summary
Club Pilates is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our  new Ocala studio.  The ideal candidate will be based year-round in Ocala, highly organized, self-motivated, and possess strong sales and customer service skills.  This role requires someone who is good with people, hands-on, willing to tackle a variety of tasks to ensure our studios run smoothly and maintain a welcoming environment for our members. 
The studio will be opening in late January. During the first month, the Studio Manager will focus on Pre-Sales, Community Events, partnerships, and hiring.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Member Engagement/New Member Acquisition and Retention:

  • Work with Regional Manager development and execution of monthly goals; successfully implement at studio
  • Drive membership sales and ensure a high conversion rate of prospects
  • Engage with members to promote retention and handle membership upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, freezes, inquiries, and collect outstanding dues
  • Achieve high-level proficiency of Club Ready studio management system
  • Strategically manage sales, marketing, and member engagement initiatives, including in-studio, in the community, and on our social channels
    • Plan and execute community events and partnerships to increase studio visibility and attract new members
    • Seek and identify opportunities to increase brand exposure
Operational Management:
  • Ensure the studio is kept clean, adhering to our established cleaning procedures
  • Address any maintenance issues promptly
  • Manage studio inventory, including retail, cleaning, toiletry, and office supplies
  • Ensure all studio systems and equipment are in excellent working condition
  • Be on call to handle urgent issues such as plumbing, roof leaks, malfunctioning equipment, etc.
Compliance & Administrative Duties:
  • Ensure the studio operates in compliance with all Club Pilates, legal and regulatory, business, and financial guidelines and procedures
  • Track and report expenses, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Manage and document incident reports and ensure timely resolution
  • Handle payment and refund inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
  • Report to Regional Manager on studio performance and operational matters.  
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports as required
Team Leadership:
  • Train and supervise new and existing sales associates
  • Model superior customer service and attentiveness to details
  • Create and maintain staff schedules, stepping in as needed to cover shifts
  • Foster a positive, upbeat, and friendly work environment

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in a management role, preferably in a sales or customer service environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to manage and drive four revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
  • Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and address any task necessary to ensure studio success
Compensation
