Netgate is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), reporting to the VP of Marketing, to be the technical expert within our team on pfSense+ (firewall) and TNSR (Router), along with Cloud (specifically AWS and Azure). Candidate must have active AWS Solutions Architect certification. Department: Marketing Type: Full Time Location: Austin, TX, hybrid, or remote RESPONSIBILITIES: Create design guides, evaluation guides, technical white papers, presentations, videos, and demonstrations for our products. Build and maintain a demonstration environment utilizing cloud-based resources. Knowledge of Cloud Formation and Terraform is required. Support sales and marketing efforts as required. Some travel required to support field and marketing activity. Support product launch activities and assist with trade shows, conferences, and technical sales training or channel partner training activities. Work with the competitive team for market and competitive analysis. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification on AWS and/or Azure is required. Exceptional written and oral communication skills required. Previous experience as TME/SE on Security Products, specifically firewalls and routers. 2+ years prior experience as a TME or Sales Engineer. Whether local or 100% remote, you must be driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of urgency. Must be resourceful, proactive, and aggressive. SALARY INFORMATION: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $130,000 + bonus + benefits, including a 401(k) matching program. The salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all in-office or remote US locations.
