THE POSITION
Production Interns support Producers to bring the creative vision for a filmed production to life. They are involved in all aspects of the creative process - pre-production, production, and post-production. The duties and responsibilities of a Production Intern include:
- Assist in the creation of script outlines and script writing.
- Assist Producers with prop styling.
- Fulfill preparation needs of pre-production including printing outlines, creating cue cards, creating and distributing call sheets, etc.
- Participate in production events - location shoots and in-studio shoots - and provide support to Production Assistants, Floor Director, and Producers.
- Act as back-up resource on equipment such as teleprompter as needed.
- Work with editors and assist in editing segments as needed.

Experience and Skills

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Television and Film Production or related major
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Prior hands-on technical experience preferred. (Can be from school projects.)
