Job Title: Sr. UX/UI Product Designer.
Location: New York City, NY (3 Days onsite/week).
Duration: FTE
Responsibilities
- Work with teams across product design and engineering to define and prioritize user needs business requirements and design objectives
- Lead the UIUX design process from concept to execution including wireframing prototyping and creating high-fidelity mockups
- Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior needs and pain points Utilize findings to inform and validate design decisions
- Define standards conventions and vision for cohesive yet adaptable design systems
- Continuously evolve the design systems based on new insights from product technology and research
- Craft high-fidelity visuals prototypes and specifications for your final design solutions
- Knowledge of typography color prototype and visual storytelling
- Develop intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that prioritize usability accessibility and engagement
- Implement best practices in UIUX design interaction design and information architecture to deliver an exceptional user experience
- Design and optimize web pages to enhance user acquisition retention and conversion ensuring a seamless and engaging browsing experience
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in UIUX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web and mobile design
- Experience building and managing design systems
- Proficiency in Figma
- Deep understanding of user centered design principles design thinking methodologies and usability best practices
- Experience in the fintech domain or with financial products services is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively
- Passion for innovation creativity and delivering exceptional user experiences with a keen interest in new AI driven design approaches
