Must Haves:
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.
- Knowledge of user research and analytics tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Google Analytics, Hotjar).
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-phase projects, with a track record of on-time and on-budget delivery.
Nice to Have Skills
Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS) to communicate effectively with development teams.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to drive user-centered design across our digital products and platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate user research into actionable design solutions, creating cohesive, accessible, and innovative user experiences. The ideal candidate is a seasoned UX professional with strong expertise in user research, interaction design, and information architecture, capable of leading design projects from concept through to final implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- UX Strategy and Design Leadership: Define and lead the UX design strategy for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct and oversee user research initiatives, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics reviews, to understand user needs and inform design decisions.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively. Collaborate with UI designers to refine visual and interactive elements.
- Information Architecture: Organize content and information to ensure users can navigate and find information intuitively, aligning with best practices for accessibility and usability.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to incorporate technical requirements, iterate on designs, and deliver seamless product experiences.
- Advocacy for User-Centered Design: Champion UX best practices and a user-first approach across the organization, providing insights into industry trends and evolving design standards.
- Accessibility and Inclusive Design: Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards, optimizing for diverse user needs and promoting an inclusive user experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in UX design are a plus.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in UX design, preferably with a portfolio that demonstrates success in designing complex and scalable digital solutions.
- Proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing for diverse user needs.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.
- Knowledge of user research and analytics tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Google Analytics, Hotjar).
- Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS) to communicate effectively with development teams.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to non-design stakeholders.
