• Identify and prioritize research questions that drive business progress
• Design and execute research projects ranging from generative to evaluative studies
• Enable teams to gain a holistic understanding of user needs by marrying qualitative and quantitative data
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate research insights into strategic and tactical decision making
• Measure and track the product impact on the evolution of user behavior and sentiment over time
• Establish research best practices, processes, and methodological toolkits
• Equip cross-functional partners with resources and guidance for independent research and data analysis

What You've Done

• 8+ years of user research experience, with experience in a lead role for a large product area
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
• Exceptional in communicating user research findings, with an ability to influence strategy and decision making
• Experience in systematically defining and measuring quality is a plus.
