WHAT YOU’LL DO
This is a freelance position responsible for supporting the engineering needs of complex studio facility of an established corporate client. This role will partner with our onsite Studio Manager and our client and production teams in maintaining, operating and troubleshooting all aspects of the studio equipment and video production technology to best support the client’s needs. Duties will include assisting and participating in the studio productions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Setup and configure all necessary control room and studio elements to ensure successful productions.
· Troubleshoot, manage and maintain all studio related equipment.
· Follow SOP instructions for operation of studio and control room equipment and provide support to production staff and freelancers.
· Fill production role(s) on webcasts and digital productions.
· Support and operation of transmission and acquisition technologies including, streaming encoders, Enhanced IP, fiber and video conferencing equipment (or equivalent software i.e. Zoom, Teams, etc.)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-have skills & job qualifications
· Experience with Ross product suite including Carbonite and Graphite
· Knowledge of audio systems including Ross Rave mixer
· Knowledge and experience in PTZ cameras and camera control
· Understanding of signal flow in a digital broadcast environment
· Proficient in all industry standard web streaming and encoding platforms and software
· Experience in working with LAN/WAN networking and switches
· Skills in both traditional television broadcast and IT equipment installation, and troubleshooting
· Strong client communication skills
