Edwards Body Shop is hiring: AUTOMOBILE COLLISION ESTIMATOR / WRITER in Rock Hil

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment, and friendly disposition by greeting others.
• Must have ability to prioritize work/tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required.
• Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
• Write estimates using proper repair procedures in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines
• Prepare supporting documentation for estimates, including taking photographs, completing forms, and other tasks required by insurance/fleet companies
• Order parts according to approved estimates and work tickets scheduled.
• Deals directly with customers, keeping them updated on the status of their vehicle throughout the entire repair process

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• 3+ years’ experience in automobile collision estimating
• Proficiency with CCC One software
• Familiarity with various insurance direct repair guidelines
• I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
• Physical stamina (walking, standing, bending, lifting etc.)
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Schedule:

• 8am – 5pm; Monday – Friday (Full Time)
