HEAVY DUTY SERVICE WRITER is a role that requires a very in-depth understanding of the mechanical workings of a heavy truck and its components. The ideal candidate will understand the construction of the vehicle, be able to explain the repairs needed, and identify the parts necessary to repair the diagnosed issue. We are looking for a critical thinker, someone that can find a solution in the face of adversity. This role is vital to the success of our shop and its technicians, you are the catalyst between the technician and the customer. It is vital to have the initiative to get updates from the technicians, consistently update the schedule, and most importantly update the customer as often as needed. Time management is also very important in this role, your considerate thought will ensure that customers get their fleet back on the road as soon as possible.
