ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Senior Localization Producer to join our International Marketing Services team. This is a hands-on role helping the department run efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis. A positive, can-do attitude, and a sense of humor is a must, as this is a fast-paced environment with ever-changing client needs and deadlines. This role will focus on the client side, ensuring that communication between the business and the client is timely, effective, and clear. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Reports to the Account Director, Marketing Services (LA) and works closely with the team of localization producers and coordinators to ensure materials are produced to a high standard and on time. Works with in-house graphic designers, audio technicians and online editors to deliver international localized marketing materials (foreign language materials, a TV spot or trailer and localizing it into several different languages). Develops and document existing workflows and supports continuous process improvement. Works closely with Account Director on streamlining production workflows and processes and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and best practices. Develops strong practice of metrics and tracking as it relates to internal team performance and client delivery key performance indicators (KPIs). Acts as a main point of contact between PPC and the client and provides clear and timely updates on project status. Works with the finishing department to produce and deliver final materials and manages the delivery process and asset management Downloads assets (i.e. OV masters, audio, GFX) from vendor/client platforms and makes them available company-wide on the sync-storage. Drafts detailed work orders, including project specific specs, to graphics designers, audio engineers and online editors. QC’s and manages revision of produced files and delivery to client-approved platforms. Works with the UK office to ensure clear and timely communication across all projects. Deals directly with studio Head Offices and international territory offices regarding orders, campaign timelines, territory-specific requests and dubbing requirements. Triages and prioritizes competing deadlines across all territory requests and partners with scheduling and production management to ensure high priority items are always first up Tracks production using Smartsheet and ensures documentation on project status is up to date. Assesses production risk and escalates to the Sr. Director. Trains and mentors new hires on the localization team. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a localization, operational or production role. Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Effective and proactive under pressure and able to prioritize in response to operational needs and changing client deadlines. Excellent communication skills with both internal and external points of contact and at all levels. Understanding that our clients demand flexible working hours Knowledge of the Post Production process including operating systems, protocols, audio, Cinema 4D and After Effects for Graphic Designers, Premiere for On-Line Editorial. An international background and language skills a plus. This position is based in our LA head office and the salary rate for this role is up to $75,000 per annum. Actual amounts will vary based on the candidates’ skills, experience, and performance. Please note that this is a non-exempt position.
