Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Producer with a passion for the agricultural community. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of farm operations and the specific insurance needs of farmers. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing tailored insurance solutions that protect their livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the farming community, ranging from small hobby farms to large commercial farm accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Present and explain insurance products, coverage's, and benefits tailored to the agricultural sector.
  • Work closely with clients to assess their risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the agency’s growth in the agricultural sector.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities to provide clients with the best advice.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other team members to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Participate in community events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities to promote the agency’s services.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of farm operations and the unique insurance needs of farmers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients in the farming community.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance.
  • Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one.
