to join their finance team. This role is critical in driving financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision-making processes.
Position Overview : The Controller will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This individual will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, managing risk, and ensuring the company meets its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Monitor cash flow, manage risk, and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Coordinate audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proven track record of improving processes and driving financial performance.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
