What will the Director of IT do?
Oversee and optimize the agency's IT infrastructure, including security measures, project management, and vendor management, especially with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Implement and maintain robust security protocols for data and asset protection, including Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies, identity protection, conditional access, and Azure AD Information Protection
Lead all IT projects, from planning through completion, ensuring projects are within budget, on time, and meet operational goals
Work closely with the CIO on technology initiatives, keeping policies and procedures updated
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of IT systems, including servers, PCs, phone systems, and peripheral devices
Provide subject matter expertise in Office 365, Azure AD, and related security infrastructure to support organizational identity, connectivity, and employee productivity
What the company needs in a Director of IT
3+ years of IT management experience, with expertise in Office 365/Azure AD architecture and administration, emphasizing security best practices for cloud environments
Hands-on experience with Microsoft hybrid environments, especially SSO, MFA, and PowerShell for managing and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of networking principles and server OS (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022)
Subject matter expertise in deploying and configuring Microsoft Cloud solutions, especially around data security and compliance
Proven ability to manage IT vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversight
Billingual (Spanish/English) is required
