Salary $110k - $140k + bonus potential and strong benefit package
Primary responsibilities of the Controller include:
Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including month-end close process, invoicing, AP/AR, cash flow projects and cost accounting.
Provide oversight and support to Leadership, Project Managers, and field operations on all financial reporting and compliance processes.
Focuses of role is evaluating construction job costs, data reporting/analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and revenue recognition.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
Lead finance forecast reviews and validations, analyze data trends to identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities.
Manage legal contracts, tax obligations, leases and loan/debt covenants.
Lead, mentor, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
Ideal skills and experience for the Controller:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
CPA or advanced degree a plus
At least 7+ years in a relevant leadership position
Experience in a job or project cost environment in construction or manufacturing
Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas (e.g. vlookup, sumif, index match).
