About the Role:
As the
Controller / HR Leader , you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial and human resources strategies of our organization. You will oversee a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Financial Management:
Overseeing all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Human Resources Leadership:
Leading and managing the HR team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Strategic Partnership:
Collaborating with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Providing financial and HR insights to inform decision-making.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal
Controller / HR Leader
will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting and analysis.
5+ years of experience in human resources leadership.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
