Windows System Administrator
to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, strong technical acumen, and a willingness to grow within our dynamic environment. The primary focus of this position is deploying, maintaining, and upgrading Windows desktop and server systems to support internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Hybrid Active Directory Management:
Oversee the integration and administration of both on-premises and Azure Active Directory environments to ensure secure and efficient user authentication and access control.
Entra Administration:
Manage identity and access policies using Microsoft Entra, maintaining high standards for compliance and security.
Intune Device Management:
Deploy, configure, and manage devices via Microsoft Intune to ensure endpoint security and policy compliance.
System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor the performance of Windows servers and services, identifying and resolving issues to optimize system reliability and performance.
End-User Support:
Provide technical support to resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of system configurations, procedures, and updates. Generate performance and access reports as required.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience:
Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of hybrid Active Directory environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra and Intune.
Proficiency in Microsoft Graph and PowerShell scripting for task automation.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
