SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
The Senior Accountant will analyze revenues, cost of goods sold, and inventory accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness in reporting.
Work with the Controller to oversee month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
The Senior Accountant will prepare detailed financial reports and perform in-depth analysis of financial data for strategic decision-making.
Design and improve internal controls and accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
The Senior Accountant will collaborate with operations to verify the accuracy of inventory transactions from order through shipment, invoicing, and collection.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA is preferred.
A blend of public accounting and industry experience highly valued.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experienced with ERP systems (ECi M1 preferred).
