Controller Role Overview:
Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and insightful analysis.
The Controller will develop and uphold accounting policies to maintain compliance with GAAP standards.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, promoting a positive, results-oriented culture.
The Controller will oversee the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings in coordination with external auditors.
Monitor and manage annual budgets to align with the company's strategic objectives.
Preferred Qualifications for Controller role:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience in both public and private sectors, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
