CFS is working with a prominent nonprofit organization, seeking a Budget Manager to join their strong team!
Extremely stable nonprofit founded over 40 years ago & continuing to thrive in helping over 35,000 New Yorkers yearly with housing/meals, legal support, palliative care, etc.
Hybrid position at their Midtown, Manhattan location - easily accessible to several forms of public transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUDGET MANAGER:
The budget manager will be responsible for budget modifications and development
Reallocate grants to various programs
Analyze past and current years to prepare budgets and to justify funds requested.
Review operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
The Budget Manager will also consult with unit heads to ensure adjustments are made in accordance with program changes in order to facilitate long term planning.
Direct preparation of regular and special budget reports to interpret budget directives and to establish policies for carrying out directives.
Prepare comparative analysis of operating programs by analyzing costs in relation to services performed during previous fiscal years.
Submit reports to senior management with recommendations for budget revisions.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED OF THE BUDGET MANAGER:
Bachelors Degree
Non-Profit experience is a plus
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
