CFS of New York is working with a leading manufacturing company known for its commitment to quality and innovation. They are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments accurately based on timekeeping records and other relevant information.
Review and verify payroll data for completeness and accuracy before processing.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and filing requirements.
Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee records and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
