Staff Accountant
onto their team in Brewster, NY! This position offers a competitive
salary range of $60,000 - $70,000.
Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
Prepare journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations, and conduct financial analysis.
Support month-end close processes, including managing the general ledger and accounts receivable.
Review financial results and prepare variance analysis, identifying trends and comparing to budget.
Recommend process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance revenue.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual covenant reporting.
Support provider payroll calculations and ensure accuracy.
Prepare documentation for external audits.
Participate in special projects and handle additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years of accounting experience.
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
