CONTROLLER /PLANT FINANCIAL LEADER

Under the supervision of the VP/ Corporation Controller, the Controller/Plant Financial Leader is responsible for the accurate accounting and reporting of the monthly operations performance and for the compilation of the annual operations budget, including the development of product costs, analysis of manufacturing variances, coordination and preparation of the annual plant operating budget, quarterly projections and monthly reporting of actual performance. Also provide focused support to plant operations as the Finance Business Partner on the Plant Leadership Team.

PLANT CONTROLLER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates and prepares the annual plant operating budget including standard cost development, budgeted variances, cost center budgeting, headcount requirements, volume analysis and raw material pricing analysis. Manage the preparation of all required budget schedules.

Responsible for the plant's month-end close and reporting process including monthly variance analysis to support accurate and timely reporting of monthly actuals to various internal customers.

Responsible for the preparation of the plant's operating forecasts and comparisons vs. budget and prior projections.

Ensures the timely completion and review of balance sheet accounts in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Work with Sales, Marketing and Operations to develop product cost estimates for custom product inquiries.

Drive continuous improvement efforts with Finance as well as actively support and participate in operational continuous improvement efforts.

Coordinate the capital budgeting, forecasting and reporting process.

As the Finance Business Partner and member of the Plant Leadership Team, provide financial leadership to the plant and contribute in other areas to help lead and drive decision making to ensure the plant meets its goals and performance requirements.

Participate and represent accounting on project teams as required.

Other duties as assigned.

PLANT CONTROLLER QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting /Finance Required

Minimum of 3 years of General Accounting and FP&A leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment

Strong Financial Analytical Skills, with ability to identify performance issues, risks and opportunities

Balance sheet and full P&L ownership experience

Advanced Skills in Excel

Ability to effectively communicate to and work with associates at all levels, up to and including plant and Sr. management.

Candidate must have organization, planning and goal setting skills and be capable of working with minimal supervision.

Candidate must be self-directed and driven during both new and complex/challenging workflows and priorities as well as during routine assignments.

Compensation: $150,000 to $165,000 + 25% bonus + RSU's
