Position Summary
Organization: New Mexico Reentry Center
Location: 215 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award
Position Overview: New Meixco Reentry Center is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager and Content Creator to contribute to our mission of supporting individuals in reentry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using social media to build community, share inspiring stories, and provide valuable resources.
Responsibilities:
•Social Media Management: •Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with NMRC's goals. •Create and curate engaging content for multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). •Analyze social media analytics to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. •Content Creation: •Produce quality content, including videos, blog posts, infographics, and other formats. •Interview individuals with reentry experiences to share their stories. •Develop and execute content ideas related to reentry resources, success stories, and community events. •Community Engagement: •Foster a positive and supportive online community by interacting with followers and encouraging participation. •Identify and collaborate with like-minded organizations to expand our reach and impact.

Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications:
•Degree or working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field. •Proven experience in social media management and content creation. •Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices. •Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Passion for social justice and a commitment to supporting individuals in reentry.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). •Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop). •Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
