Global Client Services is part of Capital Group's Investment Operations organization, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. The department supports Capital's clients, prospects and intermediaries in concert w/ marketing, sales and distribution teams. The mission of Global Client Services is to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Group's investment services globally.
As a Proposal Writer on the RFI/RFP team, you will work both independently and as part of a team to complete written requests for information, due diligence, and new business proposals. Writers collaborate with peers, sales teams, investment specialists and other business partners to gather information and provide written responses covering Capital Group and Capital Group strategies/funds to a broad institutional audience. You will also serve as a general resource to the business for RFI/RFP related information and may participate in content development initiatives, process improvements, and project related work. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required.

You have an undergraduate degree.
You have 4+ years of experience in the investment management or financial services industry with a working knowledge of investments and general portfolio statistics.
You have a solid background in Researching and gathering information needed to fulfill RFIs, RFPs and due diligence requests.
You demonstrate a working knowledge of investment strategies and general portfolio statistics and ability to analyze data and information.
You excel at fostering positive working relationships and collaborate with senior associates on more complex requests.
You demonstrate strong nimble learning abilities and high attention to detail, work well with differing degrees of ambiguity, balance stakeholder needs, and are a driven, proactive problem solver.
You are comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure.
You have experience with MS Office, PMAPS or other proposal software.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
