Job Questions:
The Jacksonville Icemen & Zawyer Sports are seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidates for our Videographer Position. Candidates should expect to build upon their work experience in the fast-paced, results driven world of the ECHL. This role will join our Zawyer Sports Marketing Department and work on capturing video and editing videos for all of our entities. Finalists will be contacted for interviews.The Videographer is responsible for creating, filming, editing, and producing video-based digital (social & website) content.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the marketing department and Zawyer leadership on brainstorming, developing, and driving video projects.
- Film and edit original short and long form videos featuring stories about our Teams and Players, corporate and community partners using creative storytelling, hype videos, social media videos, foundation videos, client videos, OTT/tv commercials, and more.
- Film at events/games/practices and in the community.
- Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from creatives and clients.
- Adhere to Franchise brand standards, critical initiatives, and established voice across video projects.
- Work with other members of the team to accomplish the video goals while advancing the goals of the business.
- Identify fresh and emerging internal and external opportunities to promote the teams on digital platforms.
- Optimize content for the best performance on each respective digital platform - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Social Ads, and Website.
- Manage multiple projects with constantly shifting timelines.
- Apply available data and analytics to make or adjust programming and content decisions.
- Process, organize, and maintain video file organization (source files, finished files) within our existing systems.
- Operate a variety of camera systems while also maintaining and ensuring accurate equipment storage and upkeep.
- Travel as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years experience in video production/video editing.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite focusing on Premiere, After Effects.
- Experience creating and implementing motion graphics, color grading, and sound mixing.
- Social optimized (Facebook, TikTok, IG, Twitter and YouTube) experience preferred.
- Experience directing on-camera talent.
- Production experience working with common high definition cameras.
- Flexibility to work events including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility in terms of handling a variety of assignments, for multiple brands, under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on branding, consistency and quality
- Independent, creative problem-solver
- Highly organized, motivated and responsible with good time and project management abilities
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a cross-team environment
- Knowledge of hockey and photography a plus
