The Role: Architectural Designer/Cabinetry Specialist
As our Designer, you will be responsible for creating luxurious kitchens and primary suites, including detailing custom millwork throughout each home. From concept to completion, you'll infuse spaces with personality, practicality, and functionality.
What You’ll Do:
- Source and recommend materials that balance aesthetics and functionality.
- Use BIM drawing software to create detailed designs of high-end residential homes’ interiors specifically detailed cabinetry and millwork drawings.
- Stay up to date on cabinetry trends, styles and manufacturer specifications to determine how they will affect architectural designs.
- Visit job sites to gather data needed to complete designs.
- Create cabinetry, countertop, and lighting layouts from concept through construction drawings.
- Manage multiple cabinetry lines, ensuring the team is kept abreast of updates and changes.
- Designing, quoting, and ordering custom cabinetry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A proven track record of turning design dreams into reality.
- Expertise in residential remodeling, from bathrooms, kitchens, and complete interior renovations.
- Skilled cabinet designer, proficient in high-end cabinet details and material orders.
- A keen eye for detail and a knack for maximizing space.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with the project team.
- Enthusiasm for creating homes that reflect the unique personality of their owners.
Education and Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in high-end residential remodeling at all phases of design and construction.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or other BIM programs.
- Knowledge of Michigan’s residential building codes.
- Bachelor’s or higher in Architecture
- Licensed Architect a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 8am – 5pm
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
