What You'll Do
40% Learning and Development
  • Finetune programmatic strategy and optimization concepts, technology and tasks; maintain a steady learning curve toward subject-matter expertise
  • Continue to further advance your knowledge of programmatic concepts
  • Advance and develop your knowledge of planning tools, processes and systems
  • Participate in Horizon Media's HX Bootcamp, as well as other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (I.e. Time Management, Presentations Skills, and more) as well as Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) certification courses
30% Strategic Planning
  • Responsible for the development and presentation of strong programmatic media plans
  • Responsible for vendor communication in support of media plan build out
  • Consult with hx Buyers and Performance Analysts for strategic insights
30% Account Management
  • Act as the main day-to-day POC for internal partners, support communication with Horizon teams including Digital Activation, Performance Analysts and hx Buying
  • Collaborate with team to identify and recommend potential strategic pivots and optimizations
  • Lead weekly status meetings and ensure all takeaway items and next steps are completed
  • Begin developing and maintaining relationships with external partners (vendors, DSPs, etc.)
  • Represent HX capabilities at client planning sessions

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 1+ years previous vendor planning experience
  • Basic understanding of programmatic media
  • Understanding of media math and advertising terminology
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be applied relative to the media planning process
  • Proficiency in basic functions within DSPs (reporting and audience creation)

Salary Range
$62,400.00 - $70,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
