The Role at a glance:
The Creative Manager will work closely with the Creative Director to execute and oversee a wide range of projects within the Dining and Events segment, supporting both existing operations and new business initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing promotional activations, conducting unit marketing audits, coordinating new business openings, and maintaining creative asset management. This role will also oversee swag, gifting, and uniform standards, as well as lead various special projects that contribute to the department's creative output. The Creative Manager will ensure the organization of assets and project data while fostering engagement through strong relationships, continuous feedback, and collaboration with clients, guests, unit operators, and team members. This is a newly established position, providing the unique opportunity to shape the department’s culture, improve its operational efficiency, and enhance support for the Dining and Events segment.
This role is hybrid and located in Philadelphia. You will report to the office 1-3 times per week and travel on demand for installs, openings, promo events, etc.
What you'll be doing:
Design & Production Support
- Supports the implementation and maintenance of Canva Enterprise to execute signage and print needs
- Collaborates with department Graphic Designer and freelance designers on design needs
- Copyedits and proofreads designs before approval and deployment
- Creates and updates physical and digital marketing collateral and communications materials in Canva
- Supports department with print & design production through preferred vendors and in-house support
New Business Openings & Refreshes
- Contributes to creative concept development and sourcing to ensure we maintain a competitive edge
- Develops and manages comprehensive purchasing guides for service wares, merchandising supplies, and uniforms
- Oversees the ordering process, tracks purchases, and ensures accurate maintenance of payment
- Coordinates with Marketing Directors to determine signage and collateral requirements for each new opening
Administrative & Other Support Duties
- Collaborates on developing and executing the roadmap for building and managing the Creative Department
- Ensures project tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are consistently met
- Oversees uniform guidelines, maintains the uniform portal, and handles uniform orders
- Creates and manages effective databases for tracking projects, assets, and collateral
- Supports photoshoots by coordinating photographer scheduling, preparing shot lists, sourcing props, and providing onsite assistance
- Provides onsite support for promotional events, new opening visits, unit installations, and other field-related activities
What we're looking for:
Must-Haves
- Minimum of 3 years marketing/creative experience. Food service experience preferred
- Eye for art, style, and design
- Experience with Canva
- Knowledge of marketing functions; advertising, merchandising, & promotions
- Ability to manage a diverse roster of creative projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated urgency
