Are you a passionate leader with experience optimizing marketing technology and processes while leading a high-performing team? Join Marvin as a Director of Marketing Operations! This newly created role is responsible for developing and enhancing the infrastructure, process, workflow, and analytics capabilities within the Marvin marketing department.
The Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for optimizing processes and technology to propel growth. This role will lead all aspects of marketing operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our business goals by developing and managing workflow processes and tools, standard policies and procedures, vendor management, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate is a strategic, meticulous leader who can collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive positive change and operational efficiencies.
Highlights of your role
Team Management:Lead a team of marketing operations team members to support implementation and utilization of marketing processes, technology, and platforms. Support new team members through onboarding.
Develop Processes:Build consistent and coordinated processes across the marketing department that connect strategy and execution. Document processes and functions within the department in the Marketing playbook for consistency, risk management, and functional efficiency.
Strategic Planning: Develop annual marketing calendar that connects all projects and initiatives to the marketing plan and defined goals. Lead quarterly prioritization conversations with Marketing Leadership Team to ensure alignment on priorities and identify resource needs to support those efforts.
Technology and Operations Management:Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology stack to enhance marketing effectiveness and data analytics. Improve marketing processes through automation and integration to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Track and Report Performance:Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team and key partners to define marketing metrics, set performance benchmarks, and track progress. Analyze and report on marketing department workflow, capacity, and resource utilization.

Experience implementing and managing marketing technology platforms and solutions in large, matrix organizations
Also want to make sure you have
- 10+ years of experience in resource or operations management within a marketing organization or creative agency
- Asana experience HIGHLY preferred
- A strong sense of the creative and marketing processes required to make outstanding work-from concepting through to production.
- Demonstrated experience leading sophisticated projects, organizing information, thinking critically, communicating effectively, and working as part of a team.
