The Marketing Manager - Analytics plays a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategy by identifying and helping the team leverage data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, capable of scoping complex data projects and communicating actionable recommendations across the organization. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing campaigns, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement. The Marketing Manager - Analytics leads the creation and management of custom marketing operational dashboards and executive reporting as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements a marketing data analytics strategy to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Product Marketing Managers and leadership to align on marketing analytics needs (i.e., KPIs) to track and achieve business objectives and develop a plan to execute.
  • Integrates and manipulates data from available sources to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, providing actionable recommendations to drive and/or optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Oversees the integration of various marketing tools and platforms through API connections.
  • Designs, creates, and maintains dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with marketing teams to track progress against goals and help to shape reporting narratives reinforced by data proof points.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics, making recommendations for improvements and innovations.
  • Works closely with data engineering teams to ensure the availability, accuracy, and reliability of marketing data.
  • Collaborates with internal IT and business systems stakeholders and external partners to improve data inputs/output and system connectivity.
  • Provides marketing analytics updates and campaign results to the marketing team and stakeholders as requested/required.
  • Supports building marketing capabilities that require marketing data to be successful.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for Economics, Computer Science, Marketing or related degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in analytics and or marketing related roles.
  • Working knowledge of sales/marketing platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager. Strong preference for API management experience, although not required.
  • Experience building reports in platforms such as Power BI, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Google Analytics and Adobe.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate visions and ideas via PowerPoint with strong communication skills, both written and presentation/verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Interest in learning additional systems and software platforms including project management, bank core system software for report export and analysis as needed.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building capabilities and innovation.
  • Experience in financial services or related industry an asset, but not a necessity.
  • Experience with Market Mix Modelling and Marketing Attribution, preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation & Benefits:
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is between $84,100 to $131,500.

In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
