WOODPATEL is seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist. This full-time role is responsible for executing WOODPATEL’s communication strategy. Using a variety of channels and tactics—including digital media—the position strengthens brand presence, elevates positive awareness, and supports business objectives. Key responsibilities include the development, delivery, and measurement of campaigns, public relations efforts, events, marketing content, and social media initiatives. These efforts are aimed at driving business development, supporting work-winning efforts, and enhancing client retention.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and manage weekly social media posts and a strategic plan to boost analytics, supported by an advanced content calendar.
• Maintain and update website content to be current, compelling and meaningful.
• Organize and coordinate project photography, video production and graphic design.
• Create high-quality content across platforms, including websites, brochures, public relation materials, and thought leadership pieces, aligned with overall business strategy.
• Ensure quality control on all documentation and marketing materials, verifying brand standards, spelling, grammar, and consistency.
• Lead digital strategy for campaigns, specific functions, or business lines to drive engagement and visibility.
• Collect and analyze marketing data to generate reports, develop insights, and provide recommendations that guide marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and organize departmental databases to streamline marketing operations.
• Provide additional internal/external marketing support as needed.
• Provide additional support for both internal and external marketing needs as required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or public relations preferred. Any combination of education, training, and work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
• 6+ (six) years of relevant Marketing experience
• Ability to work independently while serving as a collaborative team player
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Effective and proven communication skills using creative and compelling writing and graphics to engage audience and potential clients
• Meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to writing specifications
• Required application with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Constant Contact
• Coherent/organized page layouts based on specific proposal or teaming requirements
• Photography and video production/software knowledge is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to apply knowledge
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure when handling competing priorities and tight deadlines.
