Purpose:
Conducts administrative tasks for the Marketing Department, aiding in the development, design, and execution of marketing materials and initiatives for the Credit Union. Provides support across various aspects of the marketing function. Actively engages with our members and non-members to generate opportunities and enhance brand awareness within the communities we serve through community events, financial education seminars, and relationship-building efforts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing, organizing, and disseminating multimedia packages-such as letters, brochures, videos, print advertising, signage, sales materials, statement inserts, direct mail, and point-of-purchase displays-specifically crafted for external communication purposes.
- Assists with administrating FLFCU's website, including developing content and flow of communications.
- Organizes and coordinates marketing and advertising in our communities, including identifying opportunities available at the micro level. Advises and recommends FLFCU participation level.
- Promotes professionalism and represents the Credit Union at various community branding events, financial education, and membership functions while promoting the credit union.
- Review existing and potential member information from various lead lists. Initiates telephone and electronic contact to identify opportunities for member education and product and service referrals that deepen financial relationships with the Credit Union.
- Assists in marketing events and special projects that may include the Annual Meeting, membership drives, employee celebrations, member appreciation events, anniversaries, sponsorship events, etc. Events often occur during night and weekend hours and may be on or off Credit Union property.
- Creates monthly newspaper advertising calendar, coordinates with newspapers, and inspects publications for quality. Resolves issues when necessary.
- Assists in developing and coordinating all monthly/seasonal promotional advertising campaigns with respect to scheduling, communication with staff, development, production, and distribution.
- Responsible for the dissemination of weekly member survey requests ensuring adequate responses are received. Reviews responses weekly and alerts management of results, trends, and low scores. Creates and delivers monthly and quarterly survey reports.
- Assists in the development of advertisements and communication of Online and Mobile Banking. Responsible for administering Promotion Suite messages.
- Works with social media vendors and assists in the creation and scheduling of monthly social media postings. Creates and delivers monthly reports of social media posting engagement and recommends changes designed to increase brand awareness.
- Forwards all external communications and advertisements to the Chief Marketing Officer for review and approval.
- Communicates regularly with the Chief Marketing Officer to receive assignments and to keep him/her informed of the status of all projects in process.
- Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union services, products, terms, etc., and reviews all current member literature for accuracy and content.
- Communicates to employees to make them aware of monthly promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Creates and delivers monthly reports as needed.
- Assists in the creation of phone messages, radio advertisements, and billboards.
- Inventories all supplies, forms, and marketing collateral to ensure an adequate supply at all locations and events. Keeps the stock room organized neat and orderly.
- Types and email correspondence for the Marketing department as needed.
- Cross-trains in other departments to learn the basic functions and operations of each.
- Receives and responds appropriately to marketing solicitations, sometimes acting as a go-between for the Chief Marketing Officer.
- Maintains the NMLS and "Repo" lists by uploading information to the Credit Union's website.
- Maintains a neat and efficient filing system for the marketing department. Also maintains Credit Union archives of photos, statement inserts and graphics, advertisements, newsletters, etc. Obtains marketing samples, product, and service information from other financial institutions.
- Must comply with the Federal Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Customer Identification Policy (BSA).
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Lesser education may be considered with previous Marketing or Business Development experience.
- On an annual basis, complete all mandatory Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and Red Flag Identity Theft training.
- 1-3 years of marketing preferred.
- 1-3 years of graphics experience.
- 1-3 years of community engagement preferred.
- Prior experience within the financial industry is helpful.

- Demonstrated advanced abilities with all computer software programs, including MS Office Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other graphic design software.
- Strong technical ability and knowledge of web page design (HTML) and delivery.
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain complex information or details.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities, organize, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Must be a team player for the Credit Union, serve as a role model for others, and have the ability to get along with staff and members.
- Is able to handle different situations with versatility.
- Must be creative, friendly, cheerful, and motivated.
- Adapts well to change and implementing new products, services, or programs.
- Understands and commits to the Credit Union's mission, vision statements, and values.
- Maintains an open and honest display of character.
- A valid driver's license is required
- The position frequently involves bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, and/or pulling. May also require heavy lifting at times (20 lbs. or more).
- Moderate adverse working conditions. Some fluctuations in temperature are experienced in an office setting.
- May be required to work outdoors for extended periods of time at Credit Union events.
- May need to work beyond normal working hours, either before or after hours, pending events and organizational needs.
