Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager will work most closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to strategize, develop, and manage Scientia Vascular's online communication strategy, primarily focusing on managing digital channels like social media and email marketing to enhance brand awareness, engage with audiences, and achieve marketing goals. The role will also have opportunities for public relations management, helping shape the organizations public image and growing our presence within the biosciences sector in the state of Utah.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week onsite in our West Valley City, Utah office located at: 2460 South 3270 West, West Valley City, Utah 84119

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply digital expertise to influence and create the evolution of omni-channel strategies.
  • Identify key segments to support and drive customers through the buyer’s journey.
  • Compiling, maintaining, and segmenting email lists to personalize emails and improve engagement
  • Work in partnership with designers and copywriters to optimize email and social creative based on best practices. When needed, designing, writing, optimizing, and executing simpler creative that supports the company’s marketing goals
  • Devise and execute A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer cohorts, and segments, send time, and new features intended to drive performance lift.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
  • Regularly identify trends and email and social marketing strategies from other leading global B2B brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers.
  • Day to day management of social media accounts including LinkedIn and Twitter. Work with internal stakeholders to repost customer posts when it meets marketing and clinical objectives
  • Monitor and report on web traffic, including managing and reporting on Google Analytics
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Monitor project status and budget across paid and organic campaigns
  • Developing and implementing PR strategies to promote products or services
  • Planning and hosting events such as press conferences, exhibitions, and open days
  • Writing press releases, speeches, articles, and case studies where needed
  • Understanding how people perceive a brand and taking steps to ensure those feelings are positive
  • Handle enquiries from the public, the press and related organizations.
  • Grow Scientia Vascular’s presence in the local community and government leadership as a leader in the biosciences in Utah
  • Identify available paid media placements across the medical device industry and select those that best reach our target audience
  • Purchase ad space or time on identified, third-party media platforms, such as editorial, print, and digital.
  • Manage trafficking assets and tracing performance for reporting back to leadership with the ability to make recommendations for adjustment

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels
  • Experience in CRM platforms and marketing and social automation platforms, preferably HubSpot and/or Salesforce.
  • Proven experience managing an email and social marketing program.
  • Proficient in content creation, strategy, Google Analytics, email marketing, and paid social advertising.
  • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good writing and editing skills, and have exceptional organization.
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance in regulatory regimes.
  • Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database.
  • Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B Testing, and other CMS.
  • Proficient in data analytics to determine important data and be able to suggest improvements.
