Were looking for a Social Media expert to own client management and development programs for social media community building and engagement. Not only will you be responsible for growing followers among the top social channels, but youll be actively involved in knowing and teaching best practices and trends in social media marketing. As a leader and strategic thinker, youll be responsible for implementing programs that grow, engage and retain followers, and help convert them into leads, customers, active fans and brand promoters.

What You Need

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years' experience in retail social media community to include full strategy and content development
  • Experience with the retail industry and tagging for ecommerce
  • A thorough knowledge of best practices for new and developing social networks
  • Experience measuring, analyzing and reporting on social media campaigns
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, copywriting, designing graphics, demand generation marketing, and blogging

What You Would Do

  • Develop strategies for, and manage all social properties including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and other emerging channels
  • Research, identify and engage with key influencers, bloggers and content portals related to our key areas of focus
  • Develop and implement regular social promotions and campaigns, and report on their success
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence
  • Lead the development of content calendars and efficient content production
  • In collaboration with the creative team, develop brand voice and guide content asset development
  • Collaborate with account and creative teams to create, manage and post ongoing content to support blogs and other social communities, including articles, GIFs, images, videos, podcasts, etc.
  • Lead tagging, titling, linking and keyword optimization of all content
  • Develop ongoing actionable reporting based on mutually agreed upon client KPIs
  • Explore new ways to engage new and existing social networks to reach our prospects and customers
  • Launch influencer seeding strategies to support new products, brand campaigns and other social media drivers
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, clients, competitors, and/or industry, whether that be with existing customers, prospects, industry experts, or brand-new audiences who dont yet know us
  • Remain up to date on branded content regulations and restrictions
