The Social Media Lead amplifies MML's digital presence through dynamic content production, robust community engagement, and strategic campaign management across 20+ accounts. This role focuses on creating impactful social media strategies while ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The ideal candidate brings expertise in copywriting, content creation, and analytics, with a solid ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Social Media Management
  • Develop and implement a high-frequency, impactful social media content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and engages target audiences.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of all social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, publishing, and real-time community engagement.
  • Oversee the production of written, visual, and multimedia content, ensuring all copy adheres to brand voice and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics to optimize strategies and drive engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure MML's presence remains innovative and competitive.
Copywriting and Content Creation
  • Craft compelling, on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging storytelling content highlighting MML's offerings, values, and guest experiences.
  • Oversee and approve all written materials created by the Social Media Coordinator and Intern to maintain consistency and quality.
Email Marketing and CRM Integration
  • Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, leveraging CRM insights for segmentation and personalization.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to align email content with broader marketing initiatives and seasonal goals.
  • Track email campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall engagement.
Leadership and Mentorship
  • Supervise and mentor the Social Media Coordinator and Interns, guiding content development, analytics, and project management.
  • Develop training programs and growth opportunities for direct reports to enhance their skills and contributions to the team.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performance team environment.


Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience managing high-volume social media accounts in a professional setting.
  • Proven expertise in crafting impactful, on-brand copy for social media, email, and other digital platforms.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an emphasis on storytelling and brand alignment.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creativity and adaptability to respond to trends and audience behavior.

Weekend availability is required as we support a 24/6/365 business. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with occasional travel to MML properties or events. The Social Media Lead will balance office work with hands-on content creation and engagement in the field.
