Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist (Detail/Temporary Promotion) Opening Date : November 20, 2024 Closing Date : December 16, 2024 LC Organization Unit : Office of the Chief Operating Officer Grade : GS-14 Series : 1640 Availability : Library Employees Only Duration : 120-day Integrated Support Services is offering an opportunity for a qualified individual to serve on a 120-day Detail or Temporary promotion as a GS-1640-14, Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist. The Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist provides support in the following areas: Maintenance and Custodial Care of LOC property Environmental Health and Safety Project Management Operational Facility Services and Safety Evaluations of work areas Policy Management The role includes managing a wide range of responsibilities, such as: Supervision of assigned staff Building maintenance and custodial care program Quality assurance Demand work orders systems Contract oversight Application and Selection Process Interested candidates should, with permission from their supervisor, provide a resume with a one-page statement expressing interest in this opportunity, along with a description of qualifications that includes current work experience and training related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Expert knowledge of facility management Ability to act as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) Ability to interact and communicate collaboratively with all levels of an organization Ability to act as a supervisor Deadline for Application Submissions is November 27, 2024.
