ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Technical Writerto join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.This position will support the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). This system allows remote monitoring and maintenance of mission critical equipment such as terminal radar stations.

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Technical Writerto join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.This position will support the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). This system allows remote monitoring and maintenance of mission critical equipment such as terminal radar stations.
- Produce high quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our RMLS applications. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with Developers, Product Owners, Product Managers to interpret technical information into seamless products for applicable audiences.
- Knowledge and experience working under agile methodology
- Responsible for working with agile teams to obtain in-depth understanding of the application requirements.
- Develop, write, and edit, standardize technical material for reports, manuals, instruction books and related technical and administrative publications concerning work methods and procedures.
- Provides documentation from concept and design to development and final review.
- Creates documentation for a variety of work products, including technical reports, user guides, operations manuals, hardware descriptions, training material, and briefings.
- Create videos to help end users understand application features.
- May create graphical images, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documentation and presentations. Assist stakeholders in defining documentation requirements.
- May attend meetings, documentation reviews, working groups and briefings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Associates degree and ten (10)years of related technical writing experience.
ORBachelor's Degree with aminimum of eight (8) years ofrelated work experience - Ability to adapt to an agile environment
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to work together in support of team goals.
- Possessing a knowledge and experience in FAA documentation control, formats, conventions, and terms used for the production of System Support Directives, Handbooks, Notices and other documentation required to support the NAS and NAS supporting systems is a plus but not required.
- Permanent Residency or US Citizenship is required for the FAA background check.
