Position Description:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, concise and accurate documentation for LayerZero products and services. This includes user manuals, online help guides, brochures, and other technical content that enhances use experience and understanding.

• Collaborate with engineers, product management, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand product functionality.
• Create, edit and update technical documents including user manuals, installation guides, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop online content and tutorials for various platforms.
• Ensure all documentation meets company standards for style, quality, and consistency.
• Review and revise content based on feedback from users, team members, and customers.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with documentation tools.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status
