The Opportunity The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting go-to-market strategy and execution, gathering competitive and market intelligence, and creating marketing content to drive engagement and sales enablement. You will collaborate with others across the organization to create messaging that resonates with prospects and customers. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will support the product commercialization process, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, Marketing, and Partner Success. You will contribute to improving our product offering based on feedback from marketing, market, partner success, and sales. Collaboration is crucial to your success in this role as you will work across different teams. You will play a key role in helping TalkingPoints effectively reach the market and build relationships with customers and prospects. As Product Marketing Manager, you will: Collaborate on the go-to-market strategy of TalkingPoints products and services. Develop and maintain persona documentation and infuse persona understanding in all facets of go-to-market elements Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches Track key competitors and conduct win/loss interviews to understand strengths and opportunities for differentiation, applying that knowledge to how we position and message our solutions Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales-specific campaigns to drive engagement Develop external content that is on-message, educational, easy to understand, and speaks clearly to our new and existing customers and end users. Create and contribute to marketing content such as blogs, emails, and success stories to support both brand awareness and lead generation efforts Develop and maintain sales tools and collateral consistent with our brand and messaging Equip the sales team with up-to-date content, competitive insights, and messaging to effectively communicate product value to prospects Assist in the development of webinars, videos, and events that support go-to-market objectives Engage with internal teams and with external audiences to help define and document our product messaging and positioning. Liaise directly with our customers and prospects to understand their TalkingPoints experience, to develop messaging, case studies, and win/loss summaries Build customer/prospect and market intelligence through advisory groups, client calls, emails, surveys, trade events, and product feedback to gain insights that drive product and marketing strategy Communicate the value of new product launches, features, and updates to internal teams through written, verbal, and deck presentations Educate TalkingPoints staff on our competitors, market trends, product positioning, and product value and features Who You Are A great collaborator and able to work with a number of different groups, both internally and externally You have a passion for marketing with 4+ years experience in a product marketing role—ideally including experience in EdTech or with K-12 district administrators Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive messaging Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Experience releasing products and services to new and existing markets Effective in collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product and Marketing to create and execute cohesive go-to-market strategies Proven ability to perform competitive and market analysis to inform strategy Excellent time management, organization and project prioritization skills You are proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with limited supervision and guidance The base range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. The actual base compensation may vary depending on factors such as experience, location, market conditions, education/training, and skill level, and does not include bonuses, other forms of compensation, or benefits.
