ALSAC's Internship Program offers an immersive experience where interns dive into our culture, contribute to organizational goals through meaningful projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns are paired with a day-to-day manager and given significant assignments, gaining a true understanding of what it means to be part of ALSAC/St. Jude. Recognized as one of the top 100 internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello, our program is designed to be impactful and enriching.
Program Highlights
Submit your application and, if you meet the requirements, you will receive an email to complete a virtual video interview via HireVue. Your submission will be reviewed, and if selected to move forward, you will be contacted for a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. Final candidates will be chosen by April 1, 2025. Requirements
Field Development creates and executes shared experiences in order to acquire and cultivate donors in each territory. Work with staff within the Gulf Coast office on various programs, including Dinners, Galas & Golf, St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways, Youth programs and Walk/Runs.
Projects include:
Majors preferred: Communications, Public Relations, Business, or any other related field of study

- ALSAC Summer Intern Innovation Project: Throughout the internship, interns will connect with innovators across ALSAC, learning the art of Design Thinking. Working in teams, they will engage in creative sessions and prepare to present their projects to ALSAC's CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
- Start Date: June 2, 2025
- End Date: August 8, 2025
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
- Pay Rate: $14/hour
- Work Location: 14333 Perkins Rd, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 (hybrid)

Requirements
- A passion for our mission!
- Must be undergraduate, graduate, or graduation as of Spring 2025.
- Comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Active participation in the Summer Intern Innovation Project through cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Field Development creates and executes shared experiences in order to acquire and cultivate donors in each territory. Work with staff within the Gulf Coast office on various programs, including Dinners, Galas & Golf, St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways, Youth programs and Walk/Runs.
Projects include:
- Assist the Dinners, Galas & Golf team by creating a social media strategy with posts for all DGG events.
- Work with the Fitness team by assisting in research and recruitment for St. Jude Walk/Run and completing outreach through TeamRasier. Assist in vendor recruitment and outreach.
- Plan Thank You parties and create social media strategies for the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Acadiana, Monroe, Lake Charles, and Shreveport St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways.
- Assist in recruitment and outreach for the 2025 St. Jude Leadership Society class. Brainstorm and work with high school students to finalize their fundraising campaigns.
- Support the office with the creation of social media community engagement posts for the regional Facebook and Instagram pages.
