Your role.
You'll be responsible for supporting the firm's communications team, covering internal communications and public relations. You'll use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to inform staff about significant news and firm initiatives, support the firm's change management efforts, and reinforce our history and culture. Qualified candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative team environment and possess writing, technology, and problem-solving skills. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

* Write short articles for our intranet on topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion, new firm initiatives, and client success stories and post to our intranet.

* Write brief articles for plantemoran.com that highlight our media placements

* Write social media posts to help share firm news or initiatives

* General coordination duties such as scheduling meetings, entering work into our project management system, posting articles to our intranet, etc.

The qualifications.

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or another related degree.

* Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).

* Previous marketing internship experience; communications focus is preferred.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information


Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.


Colorado hourly rate range is as follows:

$24.00 to $24.00

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
