Saatchi is currently looking for a Senior UX Researcher who will bring these principles forward to help the organization create the future state of Toyota’s digital ecosystem.


Overview


As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be embedded within the Digital Strategy team and work closely with multiple teams of designers, strategists, and analysts in leading end-to-end research efforts. Your familiarity with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies will be critical in helping determine which methods to use when seeking answers to various research questions.

 

Your work will influence strategic product decisions for Toyota’s online presence with crucial insights about people and technology.

 

Success for this position is measured by your ability lead, facilitate, and communicate research for internal teams and clients as well as furthering the research practice at Saatchi.


Responsibilities


  • Interact directly with Client Partners, Strategists, Designers, and Analysts to identify when user research is appropriate and plan studies accordingly
  • Function as a project lead by conducting primary and secondary research by implementing a range of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Serve as the voice of the consumer while balancing business needs
  • Advocate for research insights through presentations to a diverse audience, including designers and clients
  • Contribute to and/or lead the development of the research practice
  • Interviewing and assessing strength of different research vendors we can partner with on studies
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


  • Four (4) or more years of experience working as a UX Researcher, UX Strategist, or Service Designer (or relevant academic experience)
  • Have a portfolio of relevant research work samples, your process, and your role
  • Experience in design thinking/human-centered design
  • Experience leading and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ability to turn complex data into simple, story-driven reports
  • Familiarity with UX best practices
  • Familiarity with agile, iterative software development practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with research and design platforms (UserZoom, UserInterviews, Figma, etc.)

Compensation Range: $81,500 - $137,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
