Position Description:
We are currently searching for a Sr. Graphics Designer to join our Growth Department. As part of the Shared Services group within Growth, the Graphic Designer position requires a candidate that lives in Adobe Creative Suite. Whether printed or digitally, this visual storyteller strategically considers LCG style guides, brand intent and translates information into beautiful artifacts, presentations, pitch decks, and other artwork for proposals, marketing, and corporate production purposes. By collaborating with other team members, the graphic designer will produce internal/external visual communications and graphics assets across a variety of digital and printed outputs.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize, design, and create graphics and illustrations for use by senior and executive staff in mission-critical, high-visibility client-facing projects. CRITICAL NEED: Ability to conceptualize visuals based on requirements and to meet company deadlines and goals.
• Coordinate directly with internal and external staff from concept to draft, to final.
• Use visual communication skills and best practices to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Execute creative projects as part of our Growth team.
• Create compliant Proposal graphics from flow chart through highly complex solution architectural design.
• Ability to demonstrate visual design expertise, including gathering raw data from various sources and developing comprehensive and visually engaging designs that quickly relay operational details
• Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Collaborate with Marketing to maintain brand management and guidelines for internal branding and marketing materials/templates
Required Education and Experience:
• BA or BS degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in working with graphic design or creative direction
• Experience with formatting content into visually appealing layouts, data visualizations, and infographics
• Experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and user-centered design
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
• Knowledge of SharePoint
• Hands-on knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, MS WORD, PowerPoint)
• Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies
• Understanding of Federal Government industry
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, Affinity Designer, InDesign, GIMP and Scribus
• Knowledge of videography, photography, 3D animation and interactive products
• Possession of excellent oral and written skills, including communicating presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels
• Experience creating social media marketing/customer graphics.
• Ensure electronic publications follows section 508 guidelines.

• 3D animation skills are preferred (Blender or Cineware 3D).
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $103,600 to $143,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
