Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing team from our Corporate Office in Green Bay. This role involves overseeing, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team, including Vertical Market Managers, the Brand Marketing team (Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Marketing Communications and Interior Design), and the Sales Learning and Enablement team. The VP will manage brand, digital, segment and field marketing teams, creative and media agencies, market research vendors and Martech providers to serve customers, create targeted marketing campaigns, introduce new products, and cultivate end-markets for KI's brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Strategy: Establish and direct the company's brand strategy, creating both long-term and annual marketing plans, and ensuring seamless execution of daily activities.
  • Content Oversight: Oversee the creation of all marketing content, selling materials, competitive analysis, and customer experiences.
  • Leadership Representation: Serve as a key spokesperson, representing the marketing team to senior leadership, the board of directors, and employee owners, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations.
  • Digital Marketing: Set digital marketing goals and direct the digital team to implement, test, learn, and advance initiatives for ki.com, kiwall.com, Pallas.com, and all owned and paid email, content, and social media.
  • Social Media & SEO: Direct the marketing team to grow KI's social following and improve KI's SEO rank using the latest best practices.
  • Competitive Analysis: Provide keen competitor analysis and create strategies to capture market share and outperform the industry.
  • Experiential Marketing: Devise and implement experiential marketing initiatives, including KI showrooms and national and local customer events.
  • ABM Strategies: Lead the development and execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to effectively engage target accounts and retain key customers.
  • Segment-Specific Plans: Direct research and segment leaders to develop marketing plans that position KI as an innovative thought leader in Healthcare, Business, Education, and Municipal government workplace and learning space planning and furniture applications.
  • Analytics & Measurement: Evolve and refine KI's analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Product Launches: Direct the Marketing Communications team to conceive and build out new product launch plans.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of senior-level marketing management experience.
  • Relevant experience in brand strategy, campaign development, media planning, lead generation and nurturing, customer segmentation, research, and digital UX.
  • Proficiency with sales and marketing automation, business intelligence, and Martech tools.
  • Prior experience in brand management, media planning, and trade/channel marketing within a B2B sales structure.
  • Experience in product development, sales, or extensive trade (dealer) marketing is a plus.
