They are looking for a Director of Investor Relations & Communications to join their team!Why Work Here Major mining companies invested in the company’s cutting-edge, eco-friendly copper mining technology.Collaborate with an experienced CFO to scale the business.Opportunity for strong medium-term growth potential.Be able to work-from-home while in Toronto.About the OpportunityInvestor RelationsDevelop and maintain the IR Strategy, including key messages for analysts and investorsDraft investor communications material such as corporate presentations, news releases, fact sheets and announcementsArrange for the internal review, approval and distribution of news releases and other external communicationsMonitor and maintain the IR database and schedules, update investor notes and prepare and analyze reports and make recommendations and carry out activities related to investor targeting and marketingCompile research for investor follow-up questions and review analyst reports for accuracyMonitor, identify and implement IR best practices and trends, industry disclosure best practices and recommend and counsel accordinglyCreate presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, analyst trips and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investorsArrange investor meetings and conferences, compile disclosure record of meetingsManage the investor relations portion of the company websiteCommunications:Support the development of the External Communications Strategy, including key messages for all external audiences to ensure consistency of message and brandEstablish and maintain an ongoing community relations plan to build on the mutual relationship with the communities in which we operateResearch, compose, edit, design and produce publications such as newsletters, brochures, ads, presentations, fact sheets and other correspondenceCoordinate media relations, research editorial opportunities and proactively identify media opportunities and opportunities to build relationships with key industry mediaManage the corporate website, including ad hoc postings and be responsible for regularly reviewing the website for accuracy, completeness and appropriate communication of company strategyDevelop and maintain a social media strategy in line with the best practices of mining company peersDevelop and implement the company’s corporate advertising planResponsible for organization of the photo libraryAbout You Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business, or related field required.Existing network of contacts in the capital markets (Investment Banks, Equity Research, Sales & Trading, etc.) specific to the mining industryDeep understanding of the mining industry; preferably experience with copper development projects and operationsProven ability to communicate effectively with investors and other stakeholdersWebsite/social media management experience.Experience with counseling senior leaders around disclosure and communicationsStrong knowledge of public marketsStrong aptitude to financial analysis and interpretationKnowledge of technology and social mediaSalary $170,000 to $180,000 (USD)/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
