Thepay range for this position in California is $200,000-$210,000/year. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience,skills, geographic location, and business needs. How you will create an impact:
As a Senior Manager at Simon-Kucher, you will be a critical member of our TMT consulting team in North America and create impact in 5 key areas.
Strategic Focus Area:
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including go-to-market planning, sales, compensation, and revenue operations.
- Expand and develop relevant new capabilities, tactics, and tools that our clients need to advance their business goals.
- Identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and expand our commercial growth strategy service offerings.
- Lead and manage the delivery of client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Drive project planning and execution, aligning project delivery with client needs and managing costs.
- Prepare and present client-ready deliverables, incorporating feedback and ensuring exceptional service.
- Create engagement workplans and guide the team through the project activities, including oversight of research, and qualitative & quantitative analysis.
- Develop and maintain trusted, credible senior-level advisory relationships by delivering high-quality, tailored recommendations and strategic advice that our clients can execute to realize benefits.
- Effectively engage senior client audience at all stages of their commercial growth strategy, obtaining buy-in for the recommendations.
- Proactively pursue follow-on opportunities with existing clients, ensuring effective project delivery and exceeding expectations.
- Provide exceptional client service and client-focused communication, even during challenging and unexpected situations.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment, to develop actionable insights using data, analytics, and research that deliver recommendations for clients.
- Effectively manage multiple engagements and project teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback as an objective Career Development Advisor (CDA) to junior team members.
- Lead project teams by defining clear roles and responsibilities, demonstrating strong project management approach and execution cadence, and being the primary client point of contact.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports in collaboration with peers and seniors in TMT practice.
- Analyze existing processes and tools, recommending opportunities for improvement and contributing to the growth of the TMT practice.
- Be a leader in the firm and contribute to Simon-Kucher's culture and success.
Your profile:
Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing, top tier consulting firm and becoming a partner/shareholder at the firm.
Education & Experience:
- An undergraduate degree is required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally in management consulting, serving the Technology, Media, & Telecom industry
- Proven record of accomplishment of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules, and accounts receivable.
- Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing teams, managing individuals, and completing challenging projects activities within tight timelines.
- Proven expertise in go-to-market strategy, segmentation, distribution strategy, sales strategies, and planning.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to distill insights/takeaways from large sets of data.
- Effective ability to present and communicate findings and recommendations to a senior audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep relationships with senior clients.
- Access to an existing network within the TMT industry in North America is a plus, preferably with senior executives within Technology, Media, and/or Telecom.
- Proven ability to build new thought leadership content.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
