This role will support Executive Leadership by providing thought leadership and primary marketing responsibility to help conceive, launch and grow new businesses in sectors including Digital Media, Live Experiences, and Consumer Products. The individual will set marketing goals, establish target audiences, form commercial strategies & tactics, build multi-channel go-to-market campaigns, and craft measurement frameworks. Additionally, this person will support various marketing functions including developing brand strategy/architecture, crafting visual identities and conceiving full-funnel consumer marketing tactics.Our ideal candidate will operate as a marketing generalist, bringing an entrepreneurial mentality to develop new brands/concepts and reach priority consumers. They will serve as an internal champion within Marketing, educating the broader team on business goals, strategies & timelines and help to unlock brand and business value. This will entail close collaboration with marketing functions inclusive of Brand and Consumer Marketing, Creative, Content, International Marketing & Innovation, and Merchandising.JOB DESCRIPTION – WHAT YOU’LL DOProvide marketing consultation and stewardship across the full lifecycle for new brands and properties launching within the Product & Experiences division across:DevelopmentExplore market opportunity, operating needs, potential audience size, revenue/pricing models, marketing budget, etc.Work with Data, Analytics & Insights team to assess the viability of the property within the market, investigate market trends, competitive landscape, etc.Identify harmonies that may exist across the BSE portfolio and determine how those can be leveraged to achieve objectivesPre-LaunchProject lead brand development, visual identity and brand strategy workstreamsIdentify marketing targets and establish critical metricsDevelop recommendations on marketing budget and resource needsPartner with Content & Consumer Tech teams to build strategies for social media, content production, and digital product (web, app, email) development.Liaise cross-functionally around strategy and integration with departments including Partnerships, Ticketing, Community, DE&I, Communications, etc.As appropriate, identity marketing agencies/vendors and establish relationshipsLaunchCraft campaign concepts, creative and go-to-market plansSet key performance indicators and measurement strategies that support goals related to building brand awareness, acquiring customers, building affinity and driving retention Collaborate with the Comms team around launch timing and earned media tacticsLiaise with Content team to launch social channels, distribute content and implement audience development plansPost-LaunchMeasure, report, and optimize against goals and important metricsEstablish fiscal marketing goals and develop long-term strategies to achieve themWork with Finance and Executive leaders to set annual marketing budgetsContinue to champion the property internally to ensure that it is successfully integrated into the BSE ecosystem and externally with consumers/partnersWHAT YOU WILL BRING 10+ years of experience in Marketing in Brand Manager and/or marketing generalist rolesExpertise within Media, Consumer/Lifestyle Products and/or Live Entertainment industriesExperience in brand strategy, experiential marketing, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing and/or digital marketing are all highly beneficialUnderstanding of customer acquisition, conversion and retention marketing principlesStay up-to-date with industry trends and identify findings/takeaways for considerationWHO YOU AREInnovation minded with experience developing/launching brands, bringing new products to market and/or working at start-ups with proven track record of developing marketing strategies and commercial initiatives that drive valueHighly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguityIntellectually curious individual and creative problem solverAnalytically minded thinker, capable of applying data to inform business strategies and decisionsTeam-first demeanor, with the ability to cultivate productive, trust-based relationshipsProficient communicator capable of effectively leading meetings and presentationsCapacity to excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering projects on brief and within timelineTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS May be required to travel on occasion; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.SALARY RANGE$140,000-$165,000WORK ENVIRONMENTWorks primarily in an office environment but is expected to occasionally attend events on evenings, weekends and holidays.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”) Employer.
