Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, is currently looking for a Manager, Social Media and Growth to join our Toronto or Vancouver based team. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a data-driven, strategic mindset fueled by a passion. They will be developing and deploying the most effective and innovative full-funnel multi-channel initiatives that propels our brand to new heights of success. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, this person will champion brand awareness and client acquisition strategies across traditional and digital paid channels.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including SEM (Paid search/PPC/SEO) and social media (including retargeting).
  • Build and scale complex online and offline marketing campaigns using data insights to drive creative solutions, optimize performance, and maximize ROI.
  • Set growth benchmarks and establish analytics dashboards to track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Manage budgets across channels to achieve performance and business goals.
  • Identify and test new high-potential channels, utilize customer data and research to refine acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with business objectives. Use attribution modeling, market insights, customer data, and industry trends to guide planning.
  • Lead the development and execution of content strategies for all CG Canada's social media channels. Oversee content creation and posting.
  • Own campaign reporting and communicate progress towards digital media performance targets for CG and advisor teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising trends in the financial services sector. Apply insights to refine demand generation strategies and position CG/Advisor teams as thought leaders.
  • Act as a social media consultant for advisor teams, providing insights, strategies, and trend updates.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B and B2C digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing platforms.
  • Basic technical understanding of HTML and strong SEO skills.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience with website analytics tools, Salesforce CRM, Meta and LinkedIn analytics.
  • Proven track record in executing paid campaigns across LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta, X, and Pinterest.
  • Hands-on experience with the development and optimization of large-scale online acquisition campaigns (not agency-managed).
  • Strong curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Adaptable and self-motivated with a drive for results.
