WHAT YOU WILL DO

VISION

  • Develop and implement a creative vision and strategy that aligns with the church's mission and values for visual content during weekend worship services and major church initiatives such as message series, Christmas, Easter, campaigns, and conferences.
  • Oversee the creative process and execution of branding, videos, graphics, and social media content that Saddleback Central Creative team creates.


PROJECT AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Big picture management of projects related to creative visual content for services and events.
  • Lead, mentor and manage a staff of content creators, contractors and volunteers including videographers, animators, graphic designers, photographers, etc.
  • Coordinate with staff from Production, Communications, Campus experience and any other teams necessary to hand off content for them to implement; Screens, video server, social media, website, photo booths, the mobile app, etc.
  • Lead our creative programming process for message series, weekend services and major events alongside the Creative Pastor.


WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in a church or ministry setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of current design trends and technologies.

Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The minimum pay for this position is expected to be $80,000-$85,000 per year. A wage posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
