TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time Content Marketing Manager, reporting to one of our office hubs in New York, Denver, or Washington D.C.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-impact content that builds brand awareness, engages customers, and aligns with Kharon's business objectives and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content reflects audience needs and key industry developments.
  • Use data analytics to shape content plans and measure the effectiveness of content initiatives.
  • Analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to continuously optimize content strategies.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments, including evolving regulatory and legal requirements, to identify timely content opportunities.
  • Ensure all content is practical, actionable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Develop playbooks, case studies, and instructional materials that highlight the value of Kharon's products and support product adoption among risk management and compliance professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to capture and communicate success stories that showcase Kharon's impact.
  • Conduct expert interviews, surveys, and market research to create data-driven reports and insightful narratives on global risks and industry trends.
  • Lead Kharon's SEO strategy by conducting keyword research, optimizing content for search engines, and analyzing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing headlines, meta descriptions, and internal links. Adapt strategies to align with search engine algorithm changes.
  • Present complex information in webinars, reports, and other forums, ensuring it is accessible and engaging for a diverse audience.
  • Balance technical detail with clear communication to resonate with both expert and non-expert audiences.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, ideally focused on sanctions compliance, global trade management, or supply chain risk management-or equivalent experience in a compliance or risk management role.
  • Demonstrated success in creating high-quality, data-driven content that drives engagement, web traffic, conversion, or business outcomes.
  • Alternatively, experience in compliance roles using tools like AML, KYC, denied party/restricted party screening, supply chain mapping, or global trade management systems is a plus.
  • Solid understanding and application of SEO principles in content creation.
  • Highly data-driven with experience using analytics tools to guide content strategy and optimize performance.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Eagerness to innovate beyond traditional content-using data visualizations, video, and more.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) to assist in rapid content development and iteration.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams to align content with business goals.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with accountability.
  • Experience conducting interviews and managing surveys is a plus.

This role requires a data-driven mindset and strategic execution. Using tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and SEMrush, you'll track performance, optimize strategies, and lead SEO efforts to boost search visibility. You will deliver complex topics through accessible webinars, reports, and other formats, balancing technical detail with clear communication. Your ability to align with cross-functional teams and clients will help shape compelling narratives that highlight the impact of Kharon's solutions in the global risk space.

The base salary range at Kharon is set between $100,000 and $130,000 annually. Please note that this figure does not necessarily include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity that may be part of the overall compensation package.
